What is a pillow plate jacket/Dimple jacket?

A pillow plate jacket is a heat transfer device. Two welded stainless steel or titanium plates are bent to a specific curvature through a mold. Subsequently, by inflating via the inlet and outlet pipes, the curved plates are deformed, creating a cavity for the heat transfer medium. Typically, the jacket is wrapped around a container or tank to facilitate heat transfer between the heating or cooling medium flowing through the pillow plate jacket and the substances inside the container.
